Hurricane HUGO destroyed my island in September 1989. I know how can be damaged a country because of an hurricane.
In GUADELOUPE after HUGO devastated 75 % of houses where I lived, I organized the food and clothes rescues. It was a difficult moment.

IT WAS DIFFICULT MOMENTS FOR CITIZENS OF GUADELOUPE in 1989.
But we were lucky because my island is a french caribbean dependency.

I am usually pray for all caribbeans victims of hurricanes.
It's really terrible what these hurricanes can do Jacques!
One of the real bad things in the beautiful Caribbeans.
Yesterday on Dutch television the weatherman said it was for the first time in 103 years (!) that a hurricane came in the neighbourhood of our ABC-islands. Fortunately hardly any damage was done.
But the pictures from Grenada showed completely destroyed villages.
It's good try to do something for Grenada now.
