LA LETTRE OUVERTE
Cher Monsieur Jaap Bus,
Amicalement,
Algimantas Kaciuska, le président LSKMS (LDCAU)
Rimas Mackevičius, le vice président LSKMS (LDCAU)
Alain Tavernier, le président APF
Alain Vermeulen, APF
Jaap Bus,
Alain Vermeulen, APF

PWCP-2, Memorial Dalidovitch, etc.

Dear Mr Kaciuska,
Sorry my French is not so good so I answer in english.
Your first two questions are already answered in another thread on this forum; I will answer your third question: why are there no representatives of Holland, Lithuanie, France, Ukraine in the CPI?
That question is easily answered: there were no candidates from these countries on the General Assembly in Aix-les-Bains from these countries where candidates were elected for several commissions. If Lithuanie had proposed Mr. Kaciuska and France had proposed Mr. Tavernier and Holland had proposed Mr. van der Stoep then may be the situation would be different.
But it is nonsense to criticize the FMJD and the CPI if you do not pose any candidature for this commission on the General Assembly.
That is the right way to do it, not by complaining in this forum.
Expecting to see your candidature in the GA 2009.
Frank Teer, general secretary FMJD

Dear Mr. Frank Teer,
I.
Thanks for the answer, for very correct tone of your text.
Basically you are right and it is difficult with you will disagree.
At the same time I wish to specify:
1. Last years in CPI almost nobody has been selected on GA FMJD, candidates affirmed on EB (CD) FMJD.
2. In Aix – les – Bains on GA FMJD any question draughts compositions or activity CPI was not discussed, president CPI there was not present.
3. Our question has been caused also by the text of president CPI Mr. J.Bus on forward page web – site FMJD which there has appeared already after GA FMJD 20 – 12 – 2007 http: // fmjd.org/? p=comp and where in particular Mr. J.Bus writes:
(…)«The conclusion was reached that it does not make sense to continue unless the following conditions are met:
- the CPI should have members or at least official contacts out of The Netherlands, Russia, France, Belarus, Ukraine and Lithuania. Obviously representatives of other countries are welcome as well.»(…)
II.
To us especially not clear sharp reaction Mr. J.Bus to our simple questions. With it I today have sent our correspondence to you by e-mail.
In particular, in the answer from 05 – 05 – 2008 Mr. J.Bus writes (this answer from it have received nearby 60 person):
(…)«The Lithuanian member of the CPI, Algimanatas Kaciuska was dismissed from the CPI after repeatedly violating the agreements made with you in a meeting of the CPI with the Executive Vice President of the FMJD. After efforts of the FMJD to clear the situation you continued with violating the agreements, with supporting jury members who did not follow the RI, with hostile publications on Internet, with not respecting the opinion of the KvD and so on. And finallly suggesting on Internet that the FMJD Board should be killed or something similar.»(…)
Any the agreement neither in Warsaw, nor in other places I did not do neither with Mr. P.Hilderig, nor with Mr. J.Bus. I have been excluded from CPI for criticism of actions Mr. P.Hildering and Mr. J.Bus. Last offer is quoted the text – very serious CHARGE which has stated official FMJD. I from Mr. J.Bus DEMAND in current 14 (fourteen) сalendar days to prove these words. Otherwise (if it will not be proved) about the further steps I shall inform and Mr. J.Bus, and another.
Except for that, 06 – 05 – 2008 Mr. J.Bus has declared:
«I do not want to spend more time on discussing with Kaciuska and Tavernier. Even when new lies come up, I will not reply.»
III.
Also allow to take advantage of a case and to tell to you the opinion on modernization of work CPI FMJD. About it I wrote in DE PROBLEMIST, N1 (2007) (fr.):
Les organisations d’échecs éffectuent depuis longtemps une telle éxpérience, à FIDE (PCCC – Permanent Commission of the FIDE for Chess Compositions). » (...)
Dear Mr. F.Teer, forgive to me for my bad English language in this my answer.
Best regards,
Algimantas Kaciuska
