Whether based on the party it is possible explicitly to determine what he is playing with (with what program) given user.

Re: Question to programmers
Krzysztof,
I'm not sure what you exactly meant.
I'm playing mostly with Damage (which is my own program).
In most cases Damage plays matches against Kingsrow.
Next to that I have Truus, Flits, Dragon, Dam 2.x, TurboDambase.
Of these I only sometimes use Flits as sparring-partner for Damage.

Re: Question to programmers
Bert, I think the question is whether engines can ask for their opponent's name (so that Damage can e.g. use anti-Kingsrow modeBertTuyt wrote:Krzysztof,

Re: Question to programmers
A bit not exactly I defined the question. Whether it is possible to state with what program a man is playing after looking through and analysis of his party.
Re: Question to programmers
Rein, at least programs get the opponent name during a DXP Match.
But to be honest
I dont use it for any intelligent purpose

Re: Question to programmers
Ok, now I understand your question ( I Hope).
At least Im not able to recognize specific computer-behaviors, which is typical Kingsrow, or Damy, or Dragon, ...
But maybe more mastered in the art of Draughts can do so....

Re: Question to programmers
This is the same as asking if you can determine if a game was played by Georgiev or Sijbrands. Such players definitely have their own style and I believe that Kingsrow and Damage also have there own style. However, recognising the player by looking at one game or even a few games is hardly possible.
In my analysis of the Kingsrow - Damage matches I showed that Damage seemed to make similar mistakes in several match games. But concluding that Damage was the player if this mistake happens again in another game would be a very shaky conclusion.
