Thank for running the tournament Krzysztof :-)

I was a bit disappointed about Dragon's performance. I think the issue is that normally I run dragon with a number of tables that until now were too big to distribute on the internet version.

I have made a version of Dragon with smaller tables, a compromise between strength and size. I will put that online soon, so i hope that dragon will do much better next time.

As regards program errors you already know everything. Be too bad that you don't want to open the base of ends 7 and 8 figure.Unfortunately it isn't possible to generate these bases of ends in the program, since errors appear. I sent to E mail with the description of the mistake.

I think have have fixed the problem with the endgame generator.

You can download an update for dragon at:
http://mdgsoft.home.xs4all.nl/draughts/ ... 1beta1.msi (34 MB)

It also includes the breaktrough and evaluation tables, for about 120 elo points improvement of strength. There are still some other issues though before i release a 4.1 version.

If it is a firewall issue, the problem will occur when you start dragon. I think it happens when the engine crashes for some unknown reason. I will investigate this problem next week.

I found the problem. Dragon crashes when you set it to play 0 moves in 0 minutes.

I will solve it in the program, but until a new version arrives, changing the setting will fix it.

In the program a way of moving divisions during the game would still change as well as corrected the option very firmly Permanent brain.

I thank for the reply Michel. I noticed such a small shortcoming of the program. During the game with the second program with the protocol Damexchange the program isn't displaying parties at the counter won, lost and drawn.

Here in these options he added in order to still option so that the program plays the time alternately for whites with colour but once with black colour.
