As most people know, I take a Damage sabbatical, only working on a new Damage GUI and Horizon engine.
Also I normally only participate in tournaments after (to my opinion) I have made significant changes/improvements in my program.

Maybe (not sure) i would be a candidate for a tournament victory in Tilburg.
But winning is not my prime reason for this computer draughts hobby.
I want to test new ideas, make the program better.

And the tournament is only the proof of the pudding, if against other programs these changes make sense.
Even if i was 100% sure i would win a tournament with an unchanged old program, i still would not participate.

Congrats to Jan-Jaap van Horssen who won first place with Maximus (again), his second tournament win in the last 2 months! I don't have the cross tables, but the order of finish is at Harm Jetten's web site: http://hjetten.home.xs4all.nl/dameng.html. Silver went to Sjende Blyn by Jelle Wiersma, and bronze to TD King by Ton Tillemans.
