Request for draughts engine

Post by Ed Gilbert »

I am passing along a request for a draughts engine from an online board gaming site. My (very limited) understanding is that this site, LudiClub.com, provides online play of several versions of checkers, including 10x10 draughts, and they are looking for an engine to provide a 'robot' opponent that users can select for practice play or if another online opponent is not available, etc. They are in the process of hooking into my publicly available 8x8 checkers version of kingsrow, but my 10x10 draughts engine is not available, so they are looking for something else to use. They are not necessarily looking for a super-strong program, but something that will at least give the average player a good competitive game. They do not need source code, just a .lib or .dll library with functions to control the engine. They are also willing to pay a one-time license fee for permission to use your engine. If this sounds at all interesting to you, send me an email and I will connect you with a contact from the site.
