Temporal Difference Learning

The last week and a half I spent trying to implement TD-learning. But I lost, my parameters are still going wild. Has anybody experience with this, tried it, studied it?

Well-known draughts players Marco Wiering and Jan Peter Patist studied this in the past for 10x10 draughts, you can read their studies at
