It was a gift from Dutch Draughts Federation.
After Russia wins European Championships all Russian boys want to play soccer, while Dutch children rather play draughts now...

It's fantastic gift. Our team wasn't in semi-final 20 years...
We tried ALL our top Russians coaches for national team, sometimes 2-3 "pieces" (sorry ) per seazon
Nobody could give result..

Do you know that our presedent has offered to Hiddink citizenship in Russia? It was like joke, but ...

The answer is easy Jacques:

"Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans win."

Today Germay won 3-2 at the end !! But remember that this national team hasn't won a big competition since 1996 !

Most Dutch people hope Russia will win this European Championschip. Russia plays superb. Russians can be proud of that.
Arsjavin is the best player. Coach isn't bad either.

Raar spel dat voetbal. Maar Spanje heeft het verdiend. Knap gedaan.
Soccer is a strange game. Spain deserved to win. They played well.
