A garbage quality endgame appeared on the board to put it mildly although, it is quite acceptable according to the rules of checkers composition of the former USSR..

In terms of the balance of power between the parties, this is not a composition, but rather a task for beginner solvers.
Moreover, the white checker h2 does not participate in the combination and can be removed by improving the content of the indicated unsuccessful miniature.

The white d2 checker is not needed in the finale, which means that this composition is a defect product.
Moreover, this unfinished work has a close predecessor.

There is a draw after the move 5...ab4 ! instead of 5...cg5 ??
6.c:a3 cf4! 7.ad4 fh2! 8.ab6 ( 8.ab4 hd6=) hg1 9.dc5 gh2 =
The move 7.d8-f6 also wins, due to a hopeless endgame for Blacks.
