As was established in 2016, the chief referee of the championship, A. Fedoruk, after summing up the final results of the championship, secretly lowered the score of this miniature to 5 points, while raising the score of another position by A. Fomin from 6 to 6.5 points, which, according to A. Fedoruk, international grandmaster Vyacheslav Shchegolev was unable to solve in his head.
In 1978, Valentin Stepanov added the following problem to the topic.
