Hi Krzysztof, I don't believe that much cheaper DGT boards are available. But you could ask Marcel Kosters about it, since he has been involved in many transactions of DGT boards. If you don't have his email address, send me a PM and I will look it up for you.

Thank you very much for your answer Wieger. I want to buy this board, because I want to perform live tournament programs via the Internet. This is one of my dreams in life, but the price is very high for this board and I can not afford to buy it. That's why I'm asking for a cheaper board.

Krzysztof.

Dear Krzysztof and other DGT e-board enthusiasts, indeed, the webshop indicated by Krzysztof is a good place to purchase the DGT draughts e-board. And indeed, it is pricy. In the shop, the board is being offered without the necessary (and dedicated) cables or clock, which means that they come on top of the offered price. This means that the first DGT e-board you purchase, currently costs

838,87 (e-board plus pieces) + 89,99 (DGT 3000 clock) + 136,25 (connection kit) = 1065,11 euros. The second board you purchase costs ca 965 euros because you will not need the special connection kit anymore.
Every now and then, I do sell DGT e-boards myself as well at a lower price. But, not dramatically lower, it still is a lot of money. Basically I can sell for ca 100 euros less.

The problem with DGT draughts board is, that the demand is that because of the limited number of boards, the development and production costs are relatively high. Maybe that some day, the price can be drastically lowered, but still, it will be a board with a significant price tag. For your reference: the cheapest DGT chess e- board in the DGT shop still costs ca 600 euros.

Anyone wishing more information of course can contact me via marcelkosters at gmail dot com .

I have a question about the board DGT draughts e-board. If you buy this board from the the shop http://www.raindroptime.com/dgt-draughts-e-board.html whether the board will have a clock and wiring to transmit the tournament is live on the Internet.
