Uitslagen 6de ronde
John Sadiek – Alix Louis 1-1
Rinaldo Kemnaad – Batista Brandao 0-2
William Orie – Fabrice Maggiore 1-1

Uitslagen 7de ronde
John Sadiek – Joseph Paul 2-0
Rinaldo Kemnaad – Mario Sobrinho 1-1
William Orie – Dickson Maughn 1-1

Who told you so, Jacques?
In the regulations one can read: "The players finishing in the six first places will receive the right to participate the World Championship Brazil 2009."

Uit de FMJD bepalingen:

Maximum of 2 players per country, not counting Georgiev, Schwarzman, sponsor place, organisation place, wild card FMJD.

Division over continents: 20 Europe, 9 Africa, 6 Asia, 7 America, 1 Oceania.

Vraag: wie krijgt de 7e plaats?

In het Guestbook http://www.topdam.com.br/release/15pan/ ... stbook.php schrijft een zekere Hebert Coffy uit de United States op 25 april, 16:34 dat Joseph Leon Paul "already is qualified for the World Championship in October, he will be back."

Jacques read the regulations right. To the disappointment of players and frustration of member countries, the PADCF kept changing the regulations as the tournament progressed. The result is that not ALIX (#6) of Haiti, but Forbin (#8, after 2 players left the tournament) is now entitled to participate in the WC.

Let us not keep confusing dates here. We should work with the official dates of the FMJD, and not start a discussion based on what someone just post on line. Unless the FMJD announces another date, October 15 is the starting date.

Lélio Marcos is not someone, but the main organizer of the event.

Dear all

According FMJD rules the 15th Panamerican had to qualify 6 players from 5 countries. So, are qualified: Pierre Ricardo (Haiti) - John Sadiek (Suriname) - João Batista Brandão (Brazil) - Humberto Bifolco (Brazil) - Miguel almanzar (Dominican Republic) - Frantz Forbin (Guadeloupe). Alix Louis and Rinaldi Kemnaad are in the reserv list.

Thank you Jacques. Probably the PADCF board is overruled by FMJD's Henri Macaux, who was in Brasil and wrote three days ago on Oscar Lognon's website: http://damlog.over-blog.com/article-306 ... horComment

Ricardo Pierre and Henri Macaux</center>

By the way, what is going on around Macaux, Jacques. I understand he will be forced to resign from FFJD because of fraud??

FFJD forum shows heavy crisis in FFJD after three members of FFJD's CD resigned this month. Henri Macaux spent € 3500 without authorization of CD during Beijing 2008. Macaux received free tickets from Aeroflot for draughtsplayers of France. But he didn't tell that to the FFJD and the FFJD treasury paid the money for the tickets to Macaux... Will FFJD report Macaux to police and take him to court?
