It's amazing how such a diletant and weakling could be invited to judge the " Studies at "100-cell board " category at the 2005 World Championships, where featured Jaap Bus as a participant ?
Even more surprising is the fact that the idiot received a response from FMJD Vice President Peter Hildering (Netherlands), condemning the cheater for disrupting the world championship. After this incident, some aficionados in the world among of checkers composers and players might wonder if the aforementioned Khlestakov from Nikolai Gogol's play "The Government Inspector" is not the important figure in the world of checkers ?

This story began in May 1984, when the acceptance of checkers compositions for participation in the second stage of the 5th USSR Championship ended.
One of the participants, two weeks late on the deadline for submitting their compositions for the championship (May 31, 1984), submitted his problems in genre of 100-cell draughts. His name was Vadim Nikolaevich Shemetov. This participant acted cunningly: to avoid the presence of a note on the envelope eith the date of dispatch of the package, he sent the work by valuable parcel
