Marco, what has happened with the 3rd round?
Has it been played?

Ik heb een heel dom vraagje. Wiegers applet verschijnt altijd loeigroot op mijn beeldscherm. Is er voor mij een trucje om het dambord wat te verkleinen?

Als je in je eigen zojuist gepubliceerde post deze parameters zal veranderen
<width = 560 height = 500>
in bijv. <width = 280 height = 250> zal het ook onmiddelijke gevolg hebben.
Waarschijnlijk is je monitor resolutie is 800x600. Ik denk dat gemiddelde gebruiker ( in Nederland ) zit al op 1024*768.

At the Italian coastal town Verrazze the European Cup team games were played.
Teams from Russia, the Netherlands, Italy, Lithunia, Poland and France played 5 rounds.
The victory of the Izjevsk’s team, consisting of Tsjizjow, Milsjin, Chegolev and also Lettish grandmaster Valneris, was no surprise. The dutch team (Baljakin, Jansen, Kemperman en Hendriksen) won the silver medal. The splendid performance of the Italian team was striking. Huissen was not able to beat the Italians and the winning �Udmurtneft Izhevsk� only won with 5 – 3 because of the only loss of an Italian players in the entire tournament (Chegoljev beat Bubbi). Michelle Borghetti, who played blindfold Italian games on 23 boards lately, made a great impression.

Even GMI Jansen had to play with a piece less against Borghetti. A defeat of the dutch team was to be expected for some time...
