Hello Sidiki,

It would also be nice if it is possible to use the tournament mod in Damage 2020 but how to configure it? :D

Yves, the tournament mode in the Damage GUI is not ready.
Background is that there were no other programs which had HUB implemented.
Now the situation is different.

At least Scan and Kingsrow have this protocol.
I'm also working on a Damage HUB version.

When this is ready, I will update the tournament mode in the Damage GUI.
I'm convinced that this will be before September, as I want to test the new Damage engine against the 2 best programs available.

Krzysztof, de openings book I can generate when my evaluation and search is more stable, and i have closed the gap a little with Scan and Kingsrow.

For now I hope to get within 10 ELO points (based on a 158 games match 1 Min/75 moves, both 6P DB).
I'm sure it will be almost impossible to come much closer on short notice (think 10 ELO difference is already a good result).

Hereafter I will start with Book generation, based upon drop-out expansion (as invented by Lincke), and to my knowledge also applied by Ed.

Think still enough time till September :D .

As shared before it is not easy to quickly close the gap with Scan 3.1 and Kingsrow.

As an example some recent standard match results (from yesterday and today), based upon 158 games at 1 min for 75 moves, all against Scan 3.1
* Both engines 1 core and 6p DB, Scan results 8W, 0L, 150D, 0U, ELO = 18
* Both engines 6 cores and 6p DB, Scan results 4W, 0L, 153D, 1U (did not analyze yet the Unknown), ELO = 9
* Both engines 6 cores, Damage 7p DB, Scan 6p DB, Scan results 2W, 0L, 156D, 0U, ELO = 4

So as expected (within the limited statistics), some improvement when going to higher core count and a 7P DB.
With standard Tournament settings (so > 5 min Game) and 16 Thread-ripper cores, I would be not surprised when all games (within the 158 Games set) are draw.

I uploaded a new Damage Engine (and weights file).
The GUI was already changed (very small changes to enable Scan) during the weekend.

Krzysztof could you please repeat the test you did (I'm also interested to see if the program runs stable with 16 threads).
