My giving up on creating the Dragon finals database came after losing two hard drives. Another problem was that Dragon with incomplete bases, wasted games and perpetuated replays. Eventually I lost patience...

Coincidence or not the hard drives were corrupted to an unrecoverable degree, many clusters were invalid where repair via chkdsk /r took months according to the system.

I managed to generate the bases of 7 complete pieces, I had some problems at first, but after correctly configuring the pagefile, the creation of the bases was flowing.
