2. Date
Sunday, March 16th 2025
until 11:30 am – Registration, start of the tournament
11:45 – 14:15 – Draughts 100 – Rounds 1-6,
14:15 – 15:00 – Break,
15:00 – 16:30 – Draughts 64 (Brazilian) – Rounds 1-6,
17:00 – Closing ceremony.
This schedule may change due to technical reasons.
3. Participation
The „Duel (Draughts 100/Draughts 64) 2025“ in Düsseldorf is an open tournament. Everybody who
registers may play.
4. Venue
The „Duel (Draughts 100/Draughts 64) 2025“ takes place in Kin-Top e,V., Mindener Straße 20, 40595
Düsseldorf-Oberbilk.
5. Registration
at Gennadij Shapiro via e-mail gena64@inbox.lv or directly before the start of the tournament.
6. Playing System
There will be a duel (Draughts 100/Draughts 64). The tournament consists of 12 rounds in total.
a) Draughts 100 tournament – 6 rounds (Swiss System)
b) Draughts 64 (Brazilian) tournament – 6 rounds (Swiss System).
For the total score, the points of all 12 rounds will be considered. In case of a tie (same number of points),
the better ranking in the Draughts 100 tournament will decide.
Organizers reserve the right to change the playing system and the time control. Both will be
announced at the beginning of the tournament.
7. Time Control
a) Draughts 100 – 10 Minutes + 5 Seconds per move
b) Draughts 64 Brazilian – 5 Minutes. + 3 Seconds per move
8. Start Money in EUR
a) Women – 5,-
b) Men – 10,-
9. Prizes
The best players receive small prizes and certificates.
10. Rules
In the playing room it’s not allowed
a) to smoke and to drink alcohol
b) to make phone calls during the games
