The individualism of the game

Post by A.Presman » Thu Nov 14, 2002 13:02

Is the default individualism of our game forms the problem of draughts
(and other individual sports)?

I mean, the football or hockey players are used to some clear statements:
- you cannot do everything alone;
- you have to rely to other people;
- you have to find a way to build or keep relationships even when it is difficult;
- there are trainers or managers and their word is decisive;

etc. ( please fill on )

And by the touch with the real live ( society - authorities - sponsors - publicity ) we - draughts players -cannot go through our individualism. And people from team sports do.
