Sorry to say there is some delay in the next beta release.

I have corrected some bugs in the GUI, but a few hard ones still persist.
I have now includedd in the .zip file a list with bugs. If others find new ones, please let me know.

Next to that I have started with the new Version of the Damage Engine (version 12.X).
I'm planning to incorporate some chances (and also some implementation faults like the outpost detection and handling).
At least I hope to minimize the number of games lost to KingsRow in a 158 match to below 10 !

As a result (as the Horizon Search and Movegen) are derived from the Damage routines i still need a few weeks.

I will inform all when i will post the next version, sorry for any inconvenience.

Just for your reference.
I played recently a short match KingsRow - Damage (30 games), 1 core only 10 mins game .
The match result was (from the perspective of Damage) 0+ 29= 1- ...

So far I mainly play(ed) DXP-Matches against KingsRow.
KingsRow should be in follower mode (other modes I did not test).
The next commands should be provided in Horizon:

$dxp client
$dxp match
$dxp go

Hope this works....

DXP is definitely something I will add to the Damage GUI to make it easy to start DXP-matches and computer - computer games.
Unfortunately there are also other things which I want to do first.

Like implementing a score graph in the Damage GUI, on which I'm working these days.
I might post a picture to show progress, and get some feedback ....

I'm working on a DXP implementation for the Damage GUI.
But next to that I want to add Database functionality and a graphical representation of the search score, and ....., and and .....

But it is in the works..... , see below screenshot :)

I uploaded another Horizon 4.3 Engine in my Dropbox.
I added now an errror code during initializing of the Endgame Database.
Normally Horizon should find (and read) 155 DB-files (6P DB).
In case something goes wrong and the number is 0, I hope that the error-code reveals some details...

I checked with Harm Jetten today, and there the Horizon Engine (at least) seems to work with the DB (but he found another small bug which i need to repair :) )

Keep in mind that only one instance of the Engine should run, in case more than 1 Horizon Engine is activated you might encounter the 0 DB-files error!

Hope we will solve this issue some day........

Bert
