For Bert: I see now that you are someone who love to be among the or the best. I approve your goal to beat Kingsrow, not because i have something against ED, NO! But just to say that we will be very glad to see that international draughts softwares are beginning strongest by a kind of CHALENGE.
We are waiting for Damage STRONGEST version.
just a question, do you thing that ED improve Kingsrow? history to stay in the first place.

For Michel, I understand what you said about the possibility to create "the perfect algorithm".
You said, if i am right that any program can have the best level, with the correct playing time.
I appreciate Dragon V4.1.2 by his search speed even with 1s/move.
We hope that in a short time we will have our V5. Thanks again for the newer very impressive perfomance of Dragon.

Yes I'm sure Ed and others will improve their programs.
At least I will share my version with Ed when it is stable, so in this way we can continue improving.
Unknown for me is how much improvement is possible in the near future.
I will do some test to get some ideas about this.
Basically i have no clue, certainly the programs are not yet close to perfection, but how much Elo point we could gain trough faster search, better evaluations, and larger Endgame DB"s remain to be seen...
