There is no limit in game itself and imaginatioon - composition is an ocean ! As I said - I have on my file 5 unpiblished Laocoons positions and 4 unhandling motives.
Sometyimes i think that we don't COMPOSE anything, because God already composed everything when created the game and all positions are just part of 40-pieces ending database. What we do - we FIND these positions.
I totally agree that dates are important for accurate references. And I also agree with "6 pieces limit" for Laocoons - thats what I thought.
However ... Follow Greece mythology, Laocoon had many heads and we must follow this too - Laocoon motive should have at least 2 clear variations and finals !
