If you post the analysis that is suggesting a draw I can show where kingsrow deviates.

Hi Ed.

Game Kalmakov-Georgiev (Russian Championship 2010)
Image
Black to play

In the above position Georgiev (black) played
45...25-30 46.34x14 03-09 47.14x03 11-16 48.03x21 16x38
reaching the following position
Image
white to play

My question is the following. Is it possible for white to obtain the draw ?

The real game continued by :
49.26-21 38-43?? (I think it is a mistake; the only chance in order to win is 38-42) 50.21-16 43-48 51.31-27?? (a blunder. the correct move is 40-34=).

In the above diagram the best move is perhaps 31-27 but the result is rather uncertain for Damy.

After 44-40 34-29 33x44 10-14 now 32-27 only draws. White must play 44-39 to win.

Gerard, yes 31-27 certainly draws. 31-27 38-42 35-30 42-48 30-25 ... draw.
