I think they are the best of HAITI. Ricardo PIERRE and ALIX LOUIS are just less strong. But they have the means to beat the leaders in the future.

Sorry for the delay gentlemen!! Just back from HaÃƒÂ¯ti. I planned to send the results from the last round and final standing after the closingceremony but it became the greatest, most beautiful and late closingceremomy I ever witnessed, just unimaginable!
Early Thursdaymorning we planned to leave Cap-HaÃƒÂ¯tien but because of all kind of problems we only succeeded in leaving this morning via Miami.
I will send results and final-score tomorrow or Sunday, anyway:

1. Anthony Alexandre * Champion!!
2. Louicéus Shang Wong
3. Ricardo Pierre
4. Alix Louis
5. Fabrice Maggiore

In the last round Alexandre beat Cherenfant, while Shang Wong made a draw with Gilles, Lorevil beat Pierre, Marcos won from Britt, Simon draw with Louis, Maughn draw with Magiorre.

yes i am the same who plays in vog, i'm also from Haiti but i live in the USA. i know Alexandre very well, we play live in Haiti, he's a lot stronger than Wrong.

According to Alexander Schwarzman, Kees Thijssen and Spély Laventure they are about the same strength, Alexandre and Shang Wong.

Wrong is a bit younger than Alexandre, both are in their 20's.

i don't know much about these players but i know they are very young in their mid 20's. Wong is from cap-haitian where the tournament took place,Alexandre is likely from Port-au-Prince cause i've visited him over his house in the nation capital in 2001.When i was playing in Haiti in the 1980's and begining of 1990's these 2 were not even known back then. So it's very exciting to see how quickly they have developped and i wish them well in the upcoming worldcup

It certainly was a magnificent tournament. The pictures from Hensley which are on the FMJD-site

are not from the tournament but from our visit to HaÃƒÂ¯ti/Cap-HaÃƒÂ¯tien in early November.
In these days one also played the first rounds from the national championship/qualification Pan-Am. The championship ended in the third week of November.
Louicéus Shang Wong became champion, Alix Louis 2nd, Ricardo Pierre 3rd and Anthony Alexandre finished on the fourth place and obtained a standby-place for the Pan-Am.

At the drawing lots on January 15th Alexandre and Cherenfant were allowed to stand in and Alexandre drew lotnumber 1.
then he said in the microphone: "I am number one I am the Champion" and he kept his word.
