Tournament table after 20 rounds of the tournament “ The Unofficial World Championship Of Computer Programs In International Draughts 2024 ”.
Re: The Unofficial World Championship Of Computer Programs 2024
Krzysztof, are you sure Plus has 2 points after round 24?
I thought that Plus has 1 point and Truus 1 point more (so 23 ).
I believe that Truus won both matches against Plus.
But i could be wrong.

You're right, I was wrong. In rounds 8 and 23, Truus won against the Plus program. Thank you for your watchful eye and good response. I will correct it in the evening today.
Re: The Unofficial World Championship Of Computer Programs 2024
Unfortunately we are reaching the end of this very exciting tournament.
Krzysztof once again many thanks for organizing and for all your time and energy.
I enjoyed every minute of it, and watched many games.
Although Ares is leading with 2 points, all is still possible, especially Kingsrow is still in the race.
For Ares the opponents are Sjende Blyn, which is most likely a draw, and the last game of the tournament Ares-Tornado.
Kingsrow could win against Edeon in round 29, and Flits is round 30.
If this is the case, then the last game of Ares will be decisive.
A win for Ares will yield a 1 point lead, and a draw will result in 2 programs with equal points.
The other competitors wont (most likely) be able to score 4 points in the last 2 rounds.
* MobyDam: With opponents Dragon and Dream, a score of 3 might be expected.
* Damage: with Plus and Scan, also 3 points as likely outcome.
* Dragon: Mobydam and Plus, will most likely yield 3 points (or something magical will happen against MobyDam?).
So stay tuned for the battles tomorrow....

This tournament is very exciting.
The 2 last rounds will be decisive.
MobyDam played a great tournament too even after his lose against Kingsrow.
Damage, Kingsrow, MobyDam and Dragon are potentially well gone.
As you said, all it's possible, Ares will it accept to be bypassed ?
All will be clear today.
Thanks to Krzysztof, and to you also, all the programmers that accepted to permit to us to run these tournaments with your engines.
Friendly, Sidiki.

Krzysztof,
Thank you for organizing this tournament, it was very exiting to watch the games unfold. You deserve a vacation after doing all this hard work.
My feeling is that most programs are in the same league and that you need a bit of luck to end on top in tournaments like this. This time Ares is the lucky one, next time it will be another program.

Re: The Unofficial World Championship Of Computer Programs 2024
Hi Krzysztof,
There are some errors in the PDN file with games from the tournament. For instance in the game Ares - Flits is the 57th move 8-3 and not 8-30. I don't know if this is the only error, but it could be that there is something wrong with the conversion from games in the applet to PDN.

At the very beginning thank you. If you find any other errors then please write, I did it manually, that's why there may be errors. I'll correct it in a moment. There should be movement 57. 08-03.Joost Buijs wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 08:08Hi Krzysztof,

Hi Krzysztof,
Do you have all the games from the applet in .txt format? if you do please mail them to me than I can convert all the games to PDN format.
It is too much work to check all the games in the PDN by comparing them manually with the moves shown in the applet.

Re: The Unofficial World Championship Of Computer Programs 2024
I only have it in pdn format. You can copy everything to notepad and you will have a file .txt. But I'm afraid you won't help me either. Why? Because there is no program that would do it correctly.Joost Buijs wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 09:45Hi Krzysztof,
