All these results look very similar. It could be that the losses always occur at the same ballot positions, probably a weakness in the network for some particular disk configuration. Training a network is not so easy, after each epoch it behaves totally different, it's a very tedious job to select the one which has the biggest potential.

Sidiki,

apparently your processor does not seem to support avx2, in which case it wont run my implementation of nnue.

Bert
Thanks Bert,

I bought a new core i7 and all is working fine for BMI2 programs for chess and of course Scan_31nnue.
Thanks

I am thinking about one question. How can GUI Damage be connected to the Scan 3.1 NNUE engine. I would like to see the speed and variants calculated by the Scan 3.1 NNUE engine.

Krzysztof,

that was also on my to-do list.
I will do my best to solve this for the next weekend.

Hi Krzysztof,

You can, before Damage Gui's finish for Scan31_nnue.exe, activate évaluation and board in scan.ini to see the speed of the engine.

It will, however, be great with Damage Gui's.

Thank you for your response Bert. I just want to see the engine play and count variants. Sound is also important to me.

I tried to create an out of the box working environment for scan nnue, including the Damage GUI, all correct .ini settings, databases, ...

As i did my best to make it working in a short timeframe, im not 100% if all functions work.
So keep me posted, so i can improve over time.

Thank you Bert. I tested a little. I have a weak nps parameter.

Bert,
I have a question, how to make the function active "ponder" - "pondering".
