Kan iemand in Turbodambase zoeken of dit al eens eerder gemaakt is zonder dammen? In toernooibase kan je namelijk, voor zover mij bekend, niet naar gedeeltelijke standen zoeken.

Ik heb hem in compositions2017 niet gezien; ik weet ook niet of er nog updates zijn gekomen op dit vlak...

As any "normal" problem the solution is unique. The originality of this problem is the following: in this position white has to take 9 men. White has the choice amongst 228 legal moves and only one is winning.

I guess it is record isn't it?

And there's an exact winning line (ending with a lone king on 48) as well. Amazing!

1. 35x44x28x37x48x39x25x14x23x1 29-33 2. 1-6 13-18 3. 6x2 33-38 4. 2-11 38-42 5. 11-22 27x18 6. 45x48.

(Nitpick: The winning capture can be performed both clockwise and anti-clockwise, i.e. a windmill capture)
