That's right. After 1.33-29 there are two important variants. 1...12-17 is a losing one, because of a nice Coupe Napoleon. But (unfortunately) black can defend with 1...20-25 2.40-35 12-17 3.29-24 16-21! 4.27x16 18-22 etc. =TAILLE wrote:I (Damy!) don't see any win here.Arjen wrote:

Isn't it possible to begin with the above diagram and the beautiful 41-36! move ?

Yes, I think it's possible! I didn't see this extension, because it's not really obvious.TAILLE wrote:Hi Arjen,Arjen wrote:

Is this setting also possible? I prefer it for aesthetic reasons...

How do you win after 1.41-36 18-22 ?Arjen wrote:Yes, I think it's possible! I didn't see this extension, because it's not really obvious.TAILLE wrote:Hi Arjen,Arjen wrote:

With my previous proposal it would follow
1.41-36 18-22 2.28-23 22-27 3.23-19 etc.

What you think of this setting?
There are some nice fake solutions.

Something may be wrong because you changed who is to move? Can you verify the setting ?Arjen wrote:I'm afraid I can't win...TAILLE wrote:How do you win after 1.41-36 18-22 ?

Black piece on 5, not 10, sorry.
Re: Partijproblematiek
Of course this position is correct but I confess I do not like it very much : for me the move 40-35 looks quite non interesting because even a weak player will play this move in a real game. I always prefer to be a little surprised by the first move of a problem.Arjen wrote:TAILLE wrote:Something may be wrong because you changed who is to move? May be you have another idea to add some other moves to reach this new position ?

Thanks for your feedback, Gérard. At the moment, I don't have any other ideas... but I will study on it.TAILLE wrote:Of course this position is correct but I confess I do not like it very much : for me the move 40-35 looks quite non interesting because even a weak player will play this move in a real game.
