To be honest, the first time i saw the playing style of Edeon i saw immediatly Scan, i know the playing style of all the programs that i use.
I reserved myself to be the first to claim it. The theory that i exposed wasn't necessary the truth, once again, it was a theory.
Now, how is it possible to input Scan's playing style into an engine without have his full strenght. Because like you wrote, it will be placed high at the end of the tournament.
It lose i think 2 or 3 games. This it's strange.

What we call "playing style", like playing on the sides for Scan, is a manifestation of the evaluation function: the shapes that the program likes or not. It's possible to extract that because Scan is open source and its evaluation function is small in terms of code. All the magic is happening in the "eval" data file.

That's right. Maybe they used the search from their 8x8 program.

In program Aurora Borealis is no such thing as manual editing of book openings.

Concerning Aurora, i use it since 2006, just to say that i know many tricks concerning it. When you say that itsn't possible to edit Aurora's opening book manually, that is wrong.

You can use the current Aurora version to make your own book.
You can either enter games in dababase with comments like "!! ! ?" to
moves and later build a tree using these games/comments.

Or you can edit already existing moves in current book/tree - use left mouse
button and mark moves. See pic

I marked one move with "!" it became
green (this move will be played first in that position), another move with "?" it became red (this move never be played).

Also you can add your own moves if they don't exist in database by clic before on "add on clic"
So you can clic on the move in this field to add it, the move will become black"
The move added will be played also when the same position will be present.
You can see the difference between an original Aurora Borealis's opening book and the opening modified that i uploaded higher.

I was more interested in such options during the game. That the engine uses a book that is loaded during the game. Another thing that such a book can do as you wrote from various comments. Another thing that the author of the program Aurora Borealis Profesional when playing Russian draughts I order every time to turn off the book. I had a maximum of 5 moves in the tournament and I'm thinking of switching it off.

I think that, i'm of course not a user of Edeon yet,Edeon Evalution function it's good and has perhaps opening of Scan.
This an opening book of Aurora Borealis i edit 2 days ago with Scan moves.
Just remplace it by the existant "international.cbk" on book files
The playing style wil change only when a move will not into the opening that contain almost 500 games.

2- I guess would be useful try to create a shared opening book for all engines or at least think about disable it.

After switching off the ends of the base due to an error, this option is irrelevant.

I don't see the relationship between hash table and endgame database, disable one shouldn't affect the other.
About the opening book, adopt the same opening book would be a prudent normalization action, of course that migrate a opening book across different draughts softwares is not so trivial due to different supported formats.
