New 144 notation

hi everybody

The magazine "Le jeu de dames" will show a new notation for 144 canadian draughts in the next number to be published in january 2022.

The idea arised with GMI Arnaud Cordier and new font has been created to help. On each diagram, some numbers appear laterally.

Am I right that this is exactly the same as duodecimal notation? See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duodecimal. I agree that this is an improvement over the currently used notation.

For a W x H board, using base-W linear notation is of course a natural set of coordinates.
