Competition takes place from September, 1 till September, 11th in Slovenia.

Neither the Federation of the international checkers, nor the Russian Federation of checkers, federal agency on physical culture and sports of the Russian Federation, Moscow Sport’s Committee, sportclub "Bashneft" (which member it is) have no opportunities (or desires) to finance this trip to Alexander.

It is for many years compelled to leave for the world championships and the Europe on own means. The created situation presses on it not only is financially, but also morally.

It is as a result ready to consider offers on crossing to any region of Russia or to another country.

I believe that the organisation pays his costs. And there is enough money to be won there so I do not think a player of his level would loose money on participating there.

Alexander,

Can you be more specific about his needs for this specific trip?

Does he needs a sponsor for travel only, and if yes how much?
If no, how much, and for what does he need the money?

Alexander Shvartsman, as European Champion, will get free hospitality in
Bovec. The organizers of EK, like all organizers of official tournaments,
never pay the travel expenses. So, he need, at least about 500 euro for
travel and, perhaps, to cover inscriptions fee.

Not nessesary to sponsoring directly - for example, he can give a simultaneous draughts game.

Also Alexander Shvartsman is looking for sponsors for the WK blind match against Alexander Georgiev.
In WK blind in 2005 in Schiedam they share first place and Shvartsman has presented the title to Georgiev actually, because refuse play match.
