Hi all!
To meet the requirements of CAJD relating to the appointment no later than November 4, 2011 two representatives of the next Ivorian African individual senior championship in 2012 in Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast Federation decided to organize a tournament selection called Top 10 which brings together the best of times.
At the end of this competition, Ano Atsé Joel and Adonis (hard of hearing), Eugene Aman (reservist), represent the Ivory Coast.

ABIDJAN - De voormalige president van Ivoorkust Laurent Gbagbo wordt zeer spoedig overgebracht naar het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag.

Dat heeft een van zijn advocaten dinsdag laten weten. Volgens raadsman Jean Gbougnon is de overdracht naar Nederland een kwestie van uren. Van het ICC was dinsdagmiddag nog geen bevestiging van het bericht te krijgen.
Onderzoek
De hoofdaanklager van het Internationaal Strafhof onderzoekt misdaden die in Ivoorkust zijn gepleegd na de presidentsverkiezingen van vorig jaar. Gbagbo verloor die volgens de internationale gemeenschap, maar weigerde de macht af te staan. Dit leidde tot grootschalig geweld dat aan zeker 3000 mensen het leven heeft gekost. Uiteindelijk werd Gbagbo door Franse troepen opgepakt, waarna Alassane Ouattara als rechtmatig president werd geïnstalleerd.
Machtsstrijd
Er zijn aanwijzingen dat beide kampen in de machtsstrijd misdaden hebben gepleegd. Noch de griffie noch het Bureau van de Hoofdaanklager van het ICC in Den Haag wilde dinsdagmiddag een reactie op het bericht geven omdat er geen openbare officiële informatie is.
Arrestatiebevel
Een van Gbagbo's juridisch adviseurs zei in Parijs tegen de Franse krant Le Monde dat ICC-hoofdaanklager Luis Moreno Ocampo een arrestatiebevel heeft laten uitvaardigen tegen zijn cliënt. Volgens de adviseur, Toussaint Alain, zijn ICC-medewerkers momenteel in Ivoorkust om het volgens hem "illegale arrestatiebevel'' ten uitvoer te leggen.
