Re: A guide to world Checkers rules and related variants
A great list Sultan,
I think 10x8 Russian is widely practiced and deserves it's own entry.
I believe Scandinavian also has a 8x8 variant.
Perhaps a reference to the rules of a game would be nice.
Great work!

Re: A guide to world Checkers rules and related variants
Sultan, thanks a lot for making this overview! I think I will be able to use this for the overview of game types in http://pdn.fmjd.org/_downloads/gametype.html. It should be easy to add new ones based on your overview. Currently I have this:
var table = [
// type number, description, gametype tag, player piece color, opponent piece color, light field color, dark field color, orientation
['International draughts' , '20,W,10,10,N2,0', 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal'],
['English draughts' , '21,B,8,8,N1,0' , 'Crimson', 'White', 'LightYellow', 'LimeGreen', 'flipped'],
['Italian draughts' , '22,W,8,8,N2,1' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['American pool checkers' , '23,B,8,8,N1,0' , 'Crimson', 'White', 'LightYellow', 'LimeGreen', 'normal'],
['Pool checkers (unified)', '23,W,8,8,A0,0' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Jamaican draughts' , '23,W,8,8,A1,1' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Spanish draughts' , '24,W,8,8,N1,1' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Russian draughts' , '25,W,8,8,A0,0' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Brazilian draughts' , '26,W,8,8,A0,0' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Canadian draughts' , '27,W,12,12,N2,0', 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Portuguese draughts' , '28,W,8,8,N1,1' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Czech draughts' , '29,W,8,8,A0,0' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Turkish draughts' , '30,W,8,8,A0,0' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Wheat', 'normal' ],
['Thai draughts' , '31,B,8,8,N2,0' , 'DimGray', 'White', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Frisian draughts' , '40,W,10,10,N2,0', 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Spantsiretti draughts' , '41,W,10,8,A0,0' , 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Dumm (South Africa)' , '-1,W,14,14,N2,0', 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],
['Sri Lanka Draughts' , '-1,W,12,12,N2,1', 'White', 'DimGray', 'Wheat', 'Peru', 'normal' ],

Hi Sultan Ratrout,
Congrats for this nice research work.
I'd like notice you about draughts variations in Poland. Even if the most played variation in Poland is "International Draughts" (10x10), there's also a 64 (8x8) variation which has the same rules of Brazilian draughts known as "warcabów 64-polowych (i.e. 64 Polish Draugths)".
Take a look: Poland Draughts Federation official rules
I'd like also recommend to become your valuable research more visible, maybe after the revisions you could update the Wikipedia Draughts article.

Wieger Wesselink Thanks for your intention to add them to game type. That will make it easy for programmers to programme these games. It will also be easy for playerss and resesearchers to master the rules as well
Thanks igorlemasson. Thanks for your info.Yeah, I am familiar with that game. It's called, "Minor Polish". I guess it will be added in the next update.
Plz if you have any suggestions, dont hesitate to email me.
