Small magnetic board?

Post by Arctic Jack » Fri Mar 13, 2015 07:31

I'm looking to buy a small magnetic checkers set in both 64 and 100 square sizes. I think I've found what I'm looking for at the 100 square size.

How would you signify a king on this board though? It doesn't come with a dedicated king piece. Would it be possible to stack these pieces? Would you even notice these small, thin pieces were stacked?

Regarding a 64 square set - The problem im having is all I can find are sets that have one set of pieces that blend into the colour of the board. I hate that. Does anyone know where I could purchase a 64 square magnetic set that has pieces that don't match the board and contrast well?

I've just noticed a 64 square set on that same website. Does anyone have any experience with it?

And again how would you signify a king?

You can turn the piece or put another piece on top of the king. As the pieces are magnetic the last one is the most used way.
