<center>

EINDSPELRUBRIEK

(Voor minder sterken. - Pour débutants.)

No. 173

Piet Roozenburg, Rotterdam
<img src="http://fmjd.org/dias2/save/11439659803.png">
1.44-49 16-2 2.49-35 2-16 3.35-44 16-49 4.44-11 49-16 5.11-2 16-49 6.2-16 +

Jaap Bus, CPI President wrote: Preliminary results WC End Game composition

For the first time the Personal World Championship Endgame composition (PWCE) is conducted under the responsibility of the FMJD. The CPI of the FMJD has organized the competition and three jury members scored the participating compositions, presented to them without the names of the participants by the contact Mr. Ceron of France.
The competition is divided in three categories and the rules to be applied are the RIE (Rules International Endgames) prepared by the CPI.

The first phase of the competition is that the jury members have a look at the end games to see if the participating end games are in accordance with the conditions of the competition and the RIE. If not these end games are excluded from further participation. The remaining end games are scored by the individual jury members and from the scorers of the three jury members together the result is calculated.

This result is first presented in such a way that only the ranking per category is presented, not yet the names of the participants or the scores of the jury members. This is called the preliminary result.
With the publication of the preliminary result the participants get the opportunity to object against elimination or to make other relevant remarks. These remarks are not sent to the owners of the Internet sites, but to the contact Mr. Ceron.

When the remarks have been studied and dealt with, the final result is published including the names of the participants and the scores of the jury members.

CPI President

Image
H. Klaassen 1991 / A. Timmer 2007

In verkorte notatie wint wit als volgt: 17Z (14) 11 (19) 6 (23) 18 (34) 13! 1 (40, 39) 34, 13 W+ Z 16? (12) 11 (17) 22 (13) =

Of kan het nog verder terug? (nee dus... )

Volgens mij is dit al te ver.
17 (14) 11 (12) 6 (17) 1 (21) wit kan niet beide vleugels afstoppen, en 12 (27) 3

Image

faalt nogal bizar op (40!)=

De stand na 3...13-19 staat op naam van D. v/d Berg (Spectrum, 2004).
