Hanco, where does this information come from? Everybody thinks that the tournament will start at Sunday 18 September. Has the FMJD changed her plans again?

The website of the organizing Italian federation says on
http://www.fid.it/calendario/tornei.asp ... rnazionale that it is "dal 19/09/2005 al 25/09/2005". Maybe the opening ceremonies are on Sunday 18th?

The Calender on the site of the FMJD still shows that it will be held from 17/9-26-09. I can't imagine why it should be a number of days shorter al this information indicates?

Indeed it's rather strange that the organizing Italian Federation doesn't know as well as the FMJD calendar at what day the championship starts.

I heard that the Dutch team has booked a flight at Saturday 17 September at 14:10h. They expect the tournament to start at Sunday.

Italians are very fond of ceremonies. The Dutch and all the other teams must take into account that all the Draughts teams during the opening have to walk at least 5 km through the city, behind beautiful girls, carrying the flags of the participating countries, like in the Olympic games.

Zee.
Weet iemand voor welk team Hendrik v.d. Zee gaat uitkomen: Friesland? [img]
