Na 27.47-42? had de Mysticus de winst kunnen forceren met:
27... 23-29! 28.30-25* 29x47 29.25x3 22-28 30.32x14 18-22 31.27x7 (27x9 9-13 komt op hetzelfde neer) 11x2 32.3x21 16x27 33.31x22 13-18 34.22x13 24-30 35.35x24 47x25 +
