Flits 3.02
Last I play a lot with the program Flits 3.02. On board was established position - playing black.
Move black. I beat pawn 15x24. At this point, program Flits played 37-31 and assesses the position as 1990 and, of course the party lost. I wonder if there is an error in the database ends program Frits. I decided to set the position of the above diagram and the program played correctly. Right now I do not know what to think.

Re: Flits 3.02
There is a known bug in Flits.
Think also Ed has seen it (especially when you play zillions of games).
Sometimes (often in a endgame situation) the program plays without thinking immediate a random move.
And as a result it sometimes loses in drawn positions.

Re: Flits 3.02
We would like to thank Bert for information. Please write if you can fix this error if it needs repairs alone programmer Adri Vermeulen. I wonder whether this error occurs in Turbo Dambase 5.0.0.6 at Klaas Bor. Write Bert how do you know how to program Turbo Dambase 5.0.0.6 at Klaas Bor.
Re: Flits 3.02
Think Adri is no longer active, and Flits sources are not available, so most likely there is no option to solve the mentioned bug.

Thank you for your answer Bert. I'll ask Klaas Bor, whether this error occurs in the Turbo Dambase 5.0.0.6. He will also try to get an email to Adri Vermeulen and ask them to fix the error.

Regarding Krzysztof's initial question: In the 2004 dutch championship tournament Adri disabled the endgame database of Flits because it had a bug in it.

Re: Flits 3.02
Thank you very much for your answer Jelle. I think that would use Your advice and I'll turn off the game program base ends. Another thing that Adri able to fix the error before the program went for sale on, because it is still sold. Another interesting thing to which I drew attention. The program does not have a full database ends. I wonder if Adri, he refused to give full database of endings, whether he thought that this program is sufficient. Complete base also should be supplemented with these files.
Re: Flits 3.02
Hi!
Is this program still on sale?
Is this program still on sale?
Re: Flits 3.02
I think the program is still available in the WebWinkel , see link: http://www.raindroptime.com/checkers-an ... tware.html
But to be honest, I think it is a waste of money.
Kingsrow or Dragon are far better alternatives.

Re: Flits 3.02
I have a question about Flits 3.02. Whether if I have an included base of ends in the program it or the option Transpositietable (Mb), whether the option should not be disabled.

the Transpositietable or Hash table and endgame database have different functions, the first one is used for position search.
