Open source draughts engines

Post by Madeleine Birchfield » Thu Aug 27, 2020 19:04

The major draughts engines, such as Scan, Kingsrow, Damage, Dragon, et cetera, all seem to be closed source. Are there any open source draughts engines out there?

Thanks, I found the source code for the engines in Rein Halbersma's github page: https://github.com/rhalbersma?tab=repositories

I have mirrored several other open source engines on GitHub. Mainly because I find it convenient to be able to browse the source code on almost any device, instead of having to download and open .zip files. I would like to encourage the authors to start their own GitHub repositories. E.g. in one instance I got a pull request for Scan which I am not in a position to accept really (I have no intention of forking).
