3-move ballots - opening 34-29 20-25 29-23

Post by trictrac » Wed Aug 22, 2018 20:56

It seems that, with this opening, white has no way to save 24.
after 1. ... 18x29 2. 33x24 19x30 3. 35x24

If it's right, it could be better to remove this opening from the 3-move ballots (all program lose with white on this position : even the better scan3.0, kingsrow, ...).

Members of the forum, what is your opinion ?
- on the lose ?
- on the remove of this opening if the lose is right ?

When you want to test the behaviours of two programs on all the 3-move ballots positions, you can put all the starting position in a file.
This file is used by the HMI driving all the matchs (with DXP protocol for example).
So this opening will not be tested.

Thank, but can you show how to edit this kind of file or send this file.

I agree that this opening looks like a loss. I will remove it from kingsrow's 3-move engine match list.
