I have a simple dream as a man. He would like one day to see how the program calculates all the movements and all variants. I know it may not be possible with a normal user program, but with a programmer, everything is possible.

Could you clarify your dream?
Any programmer knows perfectly how their programm calculates all the movements and all variants and in this forum you can find a lot of information on this point. "Seeing" how the program calculates is also possible (I developped such function in Damy in order to help me debbugging the program) but as a human you will not be able to follow all the variants because a program generaly generates a billion of positions in very few minutes.

Thank you for your answer Gerard. Well thought Gerard. I would like to see these many millions or billions it generates for example in 2 - 3 minutes. I know it's strange dream, but it's my dream. For many years, the deals with various draughts tournaments yet no one I have not showed up.

Damy can show you all the positions generated but here you have a human problem. If you want to look at the billion of position generated you need 30 years when you take only one second per position!Krzysztof Grzelak wrote:Hi Gerard.

BTW Krzysztof, if you want to see all the positions in the Damy bdd, you need 6000 years when you take only 1/100ème second per position ! When do you intend to sleep?
