JR: All these solutions are out of discussion. The rules of the contest have no article according to which it could be possible to account points for an indication: which color (black or white) has advantage and which has not.
# 4 ## 4-VI and 4-VIII Remark sent by participant: these solution begin with one and the same move, therefore they have to be united.
JR: Correct. Conclusion is : + 10 points for one or both 4-VI and 4-VIII. Max. sum points for # 4 is 30 points.
# 7 7-XI The precision of solution sent and correction of the JRemark in the JReport.
SS: 2217 (1311 A), 4035 (3322 BC), 4238 (2918), 2117 (1423), 2501 (3136), 1719 (2413), 0140 (4534), 3524 (3641), 3930 (4147), 4842 (3739), 4433 (4736), 4641 (3647), 3329 (4733), 2938x
A (3311), 2117 (1322), 1706 (2413), 4035 (2918), 3504x B (2918), 2117 (1432), 2501 (1122), 0136 (3440), 3629 (4047), 3524x C (2413), 3504 (2918), 3930 (3322), 3024x
JR: Incorrect: 2217 (1311 A), 4035 (3322 BC), 4238 (2918), 2117 (1423), 2501 (27*,40) etc.=.
*Too (28, 40) =. Thus: for 7-XI it is accounted – 10 points, like it was already written in the JR.
# 11 11-XIV 2,19(13*35A)5(39*30B)48(14C)8(18-23D,34)29,3(47E)39(371) 493,34, 47+ A (33*35)33(32*23F)10(35*44G)48,34(4H)340,25(21)12(7)47(139) 16+. G (21*32)261(4)7(27)15(44)48(40)34+.
JR: Incorrect in G. (21*32)261(27) and now if 5 then (44)48(40)28,41,37(14,20,19,8)=.
The score is: - 10 points.
# 12 12-IV JR: Incorrect. After the sign = white plays 33 and after 28. White position is win.
P.e.: 33(13)28(7)21(20)461(25)417(250)372(18)27(23,13)17(19)21 etc+.
Conclusion for # 12 in total:
“- 10 points are accounted for those participants who has indicated only incorrect author conception as correct solution of # 12 .
# 17 17-III Remark sent: the JR in the JReport is incorrect. After 372,21,39, 7(34)45(42)1(15)6(9,104)41 if black sacrifises (21,4) there is win for white after either 50*(20)19,11(25)17+, *or 416(20)19,221(25)282 etc+. Thus, white has many possibilities to win after the attempt (21,4), and therefore this attempt of black is not enough to be consider by special notice because after this attempt there are many ways to win.
JR: Correct. This conclusion is also correct for variant 17-II. Thus, for one or both variants 17-II and 17-III it is accounted + 10 points.
# 17 17-VI SS: 3732 (3010), 3221 (3616), 4439 (3432), 4707 (4534), 2945x
JR: Incomplete, 0 points.
JR: Correct
# 18 18-V The Jury itself remark. The JR written in the JReport is incorrect. Solution 18-V is correct. Thus: + 10 points for 18-V.
# 18 18-XII 4843,3227,4540,3328,2923,2318,5045,3429,2014,2520,2014,1410(813,A)

D1(33)34(19)13,8(9)2(39)35x. D(19),(29)24,9,25x.
JR: Correct. + 10 points.
# 16 16-XXVIII 5,29[33:24AB]26,19,21[5]49[28]34[14]161[25]39[47]6[42]
16[47]43[15]30[24]48,14+.
A[35:24]15,34,47,39,31,49+
B[27]1[36]47[24]404,39,31,49[35]39[35-30]33[48]28[31]
283[9]6[27]6-44[30]19+ etc.

# 16. JRemark in JReport JR: + 5 points for one or all XIV, XV, XIV, XX, XXI.
JR : It is incorrect. Solutions XX and XXI are different from XIV, XV, XIV. Therefore correct notice has to be written so: + 5 points for one or all XIV, XV, XIV; + 5 points for one or both XX and XXI.
# 20 20-4 The questions sent by participant: why 20-4 is written twice and with different points?
The jury answer is: this is technical error. 20-4 is written twice because it begins with different moves, but estimation for 20-4 had to be written equal in both cases: Correct, + 10.
# 20 20-39 It was missed in the JR. The estimation is : correct, + 10 points.
# 22 22-I Remark sent by participant: ‘This dual has to be accounted because after this dual different positions are appeared’.
JR: This dual does change no one move of author’s solution, though it is true that positions are different after this choice of White King capture. The question is: what is Dual? In Dutch rules of the problemism of 1969 it is written: this is deviation from author’s solution. There is no definition of Dual neither French Rules of the problemism by G.Avid 1958 year nor former USSR kodex 1986. In actual practice Dual is considered always as regards to white’ moves.
So, what we see? We see there is no deviation from author’s solution by this dual: move is not changed. [A move is replacing of one piece to other where this piece stops.]
So, according to which reason it should be counted extra points for 22-I if there is no changing of white moves? The jury does not see such reason basing on problemism rules existed till establishment of the Rules International (RI).
The situation appeared in 22-I is defined in RI only. But there was no requirement in COPUE regulations to indicate a Dual according to RI for simple reason: when COUPE started then there were no RI.
The conclusion is: 0 points for 22-I.
# 22 22-II-III-IV Remark sent by participant: after 33,29,6,15,11(6) etc; here it is not indicated black possibility of capture (7), there fore variants 22-II-III-IV are incomplete.
JR: Correct. Really, capture move under choice of two Kings is enough important reason to be considered. Conclusion: variants 22-IIII, 22-IV, 22-V are Incomplete, 0 points.
# 28 28-II, 28-III, 28-V, 28-VI, 28-VII, 28-VIII , 28-IX are started with 42-37 while AS is stared with 38. Thus, all these solutions are SS with the same move and therefore + 10 points has to be given for one or all 28-II, 28-III, 28-V, 28-VI, 28-VII, 28-VIII, 28-IX. Maximum sum points for # 28 may not be more than 20 points. JR: Correct
Too, the jury has corrected as regards to the JR maximal possible points sum for the following numbers: 4 (30 points), 16 (45 points), 19 (25 points), 28 (20 points).

The Jury-Report
Dear Sirs,
The jury of the contest presents to your attention the Jury report for all solutions sent to 2 stage. The jury thanks to mrs. I.Ivatsko, G.Magelinskas, F.Teer, B.Fedorov for their participating for the analytic work for the 2 stage. This jury report will be as ground to account points for each participant.
The jury gives its excuses for technical mistakes in some cases in which in table of all solutions sometimes a solution was written twice. In these cases it is indicated as Technical error (TE). Too, several solutions are shared, p.e., 7-IV and 7-IV-A. The jury remarks are abbreviated as JR. Solutions for ##20 and 21 we place separately in the end with the aim to do the perception of these ## more easy.
COUPE DU PRESIDENT is finishing. As far as I remember, this contest is first International contest organized within of the FMJD. During this contest all of you have obtained the experience, which, I hope, will be useful for you in future, if you will participate in some next contest and also if somebody of you will organized a solver-contest yourself.
Each of you merit be among winners, but, unfortunately, the number of winners is limited. After 1 stage was finished I have got from some of you (and also from participants who did not participate in 2 stage) letters with words of thanks to the CPI for organisation of this contest. I think, some of you would like to thank also the sponsor of the COUPE, the FMJD President, mr. W.van Beek, but, perhaps, you did not know his e-mail address. If some of you still would like to thank mr.W.van Beek, I indicate his e-mail address: fmjd@club.tip.nl

With best regards

The CPI FMJD President
Rapport du jury
Messieurs,

S.Yushkevitch
Président de la CPI FMJD
