This sunday will begin the championnat de Normandie 2004/2005.
About only 16 participants of Rouen, Le Havre, Caen, Le Mans and Flers will contest in FLERS where we will play in a castle.

Well-known players :
Daniel DUVAL, Bruno FERET and J. PERMAL of ROUEN.
Christophe DELAVENNE of CAEN.
Jean-Louis FARCY of LE MANS.

The title holder of 2003/2004 and 2002/2003 - LAURENT NICAULT - won't play this season.

The title will be yours, now that you train so intesively with Dam 2.2!
(Maybe buy Truus Analyseversion, it's even beter than the other programs.)

Hello Hanco !

Last year I was the only player who drew LAURENT NICAULT !

But I come from a bad Championnat de France 2004. And I didn't train a lot since it.

But I will be in FLERS with motivation to beat DANIEL DUVAL and JEAN-LOUIS FARCY : They won me in COMPIEGNE in August !!

Let's hope !!

It will be difficult to beat BRUNO FERET. I drew him only one time -about 1995 - !!

the big paradox is that I play better against LAURENT NICAULT than against BRUNO FERET.

I began to play when I was 5 year old with an uncle. Unfortunately I stopped because of school a long time.
I began again in December 1992 in ROUEN.

As a kid I played draughts with my sister, but when I became member of a Draughtsclub, HDC Haarlem, in 1973, I was 20 years old.

Are there Draughtsclubs in Guadeloupe?

There is one very well organized association of DRAUGHTS is GUADELOUPE. It is LOSANGE TEAM (F. FORBIN, F. MAGGIORE are strong players of this team) based in POINTE-A-PITRE (Financial and trade capital of my island).

There is an another association which is not so structured.

once upon a time (I try to find when) FELICIEN COMPPER, member of LOSANGE, became vice-champion of FRANCE.

According to Gerhard Bakker's 1992 booklet 'Les 50 championnats de France depuis 1938' F. Compper ended 2nd of France in 1986 with 17 points out of 13 games, after the Champion D. Issalène (18 ), but before Fidèle Nimbi (16), J.P. Dubois (16), Henri Cordier (15), S. Minaux (15), Raoul Delhom (14), R. Biagianti (13), Gérard Sallaberry (13), Francis Delhom (12), J. Vigné (11), J. Aubertin (11), J. Maubon (8 ) and (Dutchman) Raphaël Martens (3).

F. Compper (1945) was a finalist in France 7 times, in 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990. He was born on Guadeloupe??

FELICIEN COMPPER was born in GUADELOUPE. His occupation was postman. Firstly he had worked in FRANCE mainland.
When he became vice-champion of FRANCE in 1986 he was living (after come-back from mainland) in GUADELOUPE.
