Dear President,

The World Draughts Federation FMJD has the honour to inform you that the World Championship Juniors 2004 has been allotted to the Polish Draughts Sports Union (PDSU). It will be held in MINSK MAZOWIECKI from 15 till 23 December 2004. The responsable person of the organization is Mr. Tadeusz KOSOBUDZKI

Every national federation has the right to present three players. I remind that they have to be less than 20 years old on 31 December 2004. The first player will be taken in charge by the organization committee. The costs of the next players should be covered by themselves (i.c. their federation). All travelling-expenses will be for the sending federations. (An indication for the price of hotel with meals: this will be about 500 z³oty per player and also per trainer/coach for the week.)

The enrolment fee amounts to 45 € per player for federations who have paid for 2004 the normal annual fee of 390 € ; and to 70 € per player for federations who have paid for 2004 the low annual fee of 160 € .

The limit date of inscriptions is fixed to 15 November 2004. Please send your announcements to the FMJD office in Amsterdam, by preference by e-mail and send me a copy.

"Friday, 17th I've been informed by Henk Fokkink that he didn't succeed to organize this championship in Amstelveen.
During the annoncement of two other Youth championships I planned to publish that the FMJD is still looking for the solution for the WCh girls.
But..."

Another question that rises - WCh juniors and cadets is now being held in the same time.
In his years I. Koyfman could win in the same year both Juniors and Cadets championships.
The ultra-talented cadets cannot challenge the Junior title this year. Pity.
