Thank you Jacques!
Next week this young man will play in the European championship for Veterans.
Don't bet on me when Nicolas starts a poll, because the tournament will be joined by real well-known players like GMI Viatsjeslav Sjtsjogoljev, Worldchampion 1960 and 1964; GMI Laimonis Zalitis from Latvia; Herman van Westerloo, 8 times Champion of Amsterdam; MF Frank Teer, the defending Champion; Fred Ivens, who once beat Harm Wiersma. And also Pappa Virni, whose son and daughter-in-law are playing the grandmaster- and mastergroup. And from France Pappa Cordier!
Interesting opponents!
