Hello Vaidas,Joker wrote:Barrage between A. DOMCHEV and E. BOUZHINSKI will be played on 8th of May
If you see this document http://www.edc.org.pl/edc/EC2005.htm you can read:
CD-FMJD meeting on January 2005 decided about places in World Championship 2005. Apart from personal qualifications based on former WC results 16 places were given for Europe. Distribution of this places:
I. (8) Direct places for the federations: Belarus, France, Holland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine
II. (1) Direct place for actual European Champion (A.Shvartzman from Russia)
III. (7) Places from qualification tournament - “Challenge Europe
Now that Bouzhinski qualified in Poland for the WC in Amsterdam, does that mean that Domchev will get the other place for Lithuania? Or will it go to another one, like you or Egidius?
Hello. The other place from Lithuania will get a winner of the match between players Domchev, Petryla, Volosionkin, and Kudriavcev, who took places 3-5 in lithuanian championship 2005 (see http://www.vineva.lt/lsf/rezultatai.htm). It was decided by lithuanian draughts federation before lithuanian championship.

The play-off was not played 8th of May, and will be played later (when not clear yet). 8th of May was played Lithuanian Blitz championship among 10 players, qualifying for European Blitz championship in Prague. Results are: 1. Domchev, 2. Mardosa, 3. Buzhinsky, ... Match of 4 for the place for WC will begin 9th of June. Probably here will be one change - Stasytis instead of Volosionkin.Jacques PERMAL wrote:Who is the winner of the play-off played 8th of May ?
