I'm happy to see that my personal favorite Thomy Mbongo has a high ranking!

Good luck to him, and ofcourse greetings to his trainer Jean-Marc Ndjofang!

Would be great to see Thomy Mbongo as the first African Worldchampion draughtsjuniors, let's make thumbs for that!

A very strong fiel of competitors; there are a great amount of players who are surely able to make it to the senior world-top in the years coming. Before the beginning of the tournament I had many favorites for the championship on my personal list, but with the successes of Mbongo, Verovkin and Munkbath it's getting more and more interesting.

Like Hanco said, it is great to see an African player perofrming very well on a youth championship; buth I must point out the good appearence of a Mongolian like Munkbath is quite nice as well. It shows that these unkown countries are working hard and it's paying off. This promises something real exceptional for the future.

It's also very interesting to see players like Misans, Jankunas, Lemmen and Varik having trouble to get to a good ranking. But in this field it appears the competition is rather lethal.

I do hope the dutch players will be able to crawl back up from their humble positions to realize the high expectations we all have, and we have grown to be used to. So, buckle up and do your best guys!

Renat Melamed is my great favorite Hanco, As member of Geleen and a first German champion also not bad for our sport.
