Post by Jacques PERMAL » Sun Apr 04, 2004 08:49

Hello Hanco,

I saw that T. SIJBRANDS will not play this championship.

Do you know the reason ?

Bye

Try to predict the results of the Dutch Championship 2004 and win 10 euro. Go to the the Dutch page: Damtoto.
1 = white wins (2-0)
2 = draw/nulle (1-1)
3 = black wins (0-2)

Good morning Jacques,
Ton Sijbrands and Harm Wiersma only want to play when the financial conditions are good enough for them and that unfortunately again is not the case this year.
But Harm Wiersma will be often in Huissen as a reporter for Dutch morningpaper De Telegraaf.
Yesterday Harm Wiersma was taking a look at the beautiful game from Kees Thijssen against Grandmaster Hein Meijer.
After the first timecontrol Harm showed immediately where Kees missed the deserved win on the 46th move:

Kees Thijssen

Hein Meijer

Kees should have played 46...5-10! instead of 2-8?

Hello Hanco,

You are right ! K. THIJSSEN should have won H. MEIJER.

Today K. THIJSSEN won G. BOOM when timer was crucial.

Nice (and easy) combination of A. BALYAKIN against H. MEIJER.
Why did Hein play like that ?

It will be difficult for G. BOOM ! Good luck to him

R. HEUSDENS lost yesterday against R. CLERC : because of timer ? He didin't guess the game end !!

Hein Meijer has been ill and because of that was hardly able to play last year. But also when Hein might be in topform, he will always stay inferior compared to Supergrandmasters like Kees Thijssen and Alexander Baliakin. That's the way God planned it!
Ron Heusdens indeed made his mistakes in timetrouble, yesterday.

Tuesday, It was difficult to found and easily draw against GERARD JANSSEN. But MARINO BARKEL succeeded to draw !! BRAVO (En Français !)

Tanja CHUB shouln't have complicated the game against ROB CLERC. This man is so experienced !!!!

Have you ever played against one of players of that DUTCH CHAMPIONSHIP field, HANCO ? RESULTS in case ?

Hello Hanco,

4th round between A. BALYAKIN and E. PROSMAN .

42th move

Why Did BALYAKIN decide to not play 43-39 ?

Could that move have been better ?

I played that move with DAM2.2 And Black couldn't draw.

I saw analyse from G. VALNERIS here :

http://www.dvheijtinghuissen.nl/index2.html

And I saw the gambit 29 - 34 !!!

BALYAKINE is better than DAM 2.2 !! ( I had chosen 10 minutes / per 50 moves /per player)
