Minister Punjab Inaugurated the 4th Asian Draughts Championship in Lounge
Hall, Lake Club, Chandigarh in this afternoon in which Seven countries i.e.
Bangladesh, Mongolia, Khazakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Uzbekistan and Host India.
All the delegates garlanded by Hon'ble Chief Guest and welcome the delegates
on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab, Captain Amrinder Singh and assured the
foreign delegates to help and promote this game in this region.
He also specially thanks Mr. Chimeddorj Bat Erdene, Vice President, Asian
Draughts Confederation who specially come over here to conduct this
championship on behalf of World Draughts Federation.
The Inaugural attraction of Ist round Zakir Hussain of Bangladesh defeat G.
Shyam of Nepal, Niken of Bhutan defeat Rohit Garg of India, Mohd Salahuddin
of Bangladesh defeat Karan Rampal of India and earn 2 points each. All
matches are played as per the round robbin system. There are total 9 rounds.
Tomorrow the matches will starts at 9.00 AM

congratulations to Dul ERDENEBILEG. He is sure the best in Asia...like his compatriot ASASHORYU (SUMO). Even if ASASHORYU has been beaten by TOCHIAZUMA in FUKUOKA today.
