Thanks Marcel! I just downloaded the books by Mr Goedemoed, but have not have the time to read them. I also think better if I can have a board and pieces in front of me to set up specific positions. Thats the main reason for getting a board soon. I'll check out the magnetic one – but I see the store...

I 'll guess the German version was the one played. Until WWII, Germany was our main traiding partner. And there was many influenses during the 19th century. Thanks! I also got a "private reply" with good advise. Soon the snow is here in Northern Sweden, and I could probbably go out and make my own "snowboard". :D But just thought while I'm about to spend some money, It is always good to get some advise about what to spend it on.
